Samarkand branch of RRCEM started its activity in 1999. There are 330 beds (including 36 ICU ones). About 319 (including 3 Professor and 17 PhDs) provide emergency medicine to population of Samarkand region. There are eightchairs of Samarkand Medical Institute on the base of branch; it coordinates an activity of 15 regional sub-branches
